The National Resource Advisory Committee (NRAC) is an advisory group appointed by the Custer County Board of Commissioners. NRAC works with the U.S. Forest Service to guide how certain federal funds are spent on natural-resource projects within the county. These committees were created under the Secure Rural Schools Act to ensure that local communities have a direct voice in the stewardship of nearby national forests.
We meet on the first Wednesday of each month unless the meeting date falls on a legal holiday then the meeting will be held the next day. Meetings are held at the Custer County Courthouse at 7:00 pm.
Special meetings or changes in the above schedule will be advertised as required by law.
